The Prince and the Frog

Once upon a time there was a huge Frog and a tired prince.

They decided that they would fall asleep together.

Now, the King and Queen were concerned about the amount of food in the young princes bottle. So, the King went in and checked on the young Prince and found him and the Frog sleeping the night away together.

The King and Queen went off to bed while the Frog and the Prince slept till morning.

Experiments are fun!

Yesterday I decided to run to the grocery store to find something for dinner. I was craving lasagna so I went down the frozen isle to see what ones they had. A lot of them were on sale so I started to scan thru the ingredients. Every single one had freaking onions in it. I was so frustrated with them. I started to wander the store hoplesly searching for something to eat. Then it hit me like a bunch of bricks "how bout I make my own lasagna." Problem was, I have never made lasagna in my life and I didn't have the recipe with me so I had no idea what to buy to make it.
I stood in the isle for a while thinking back to my past shopping experiences with my mom. I could see everything that my mom would buy to make lasagna so I went around picking things up that I had seen in her cart.
I came home and started to mix the ingredients together. In the end my lasagna was a huge hit. Kayl and Todd had two platefuls and Kayl ate some more for lunch today. I'm getting good at this cooking thing.

Depression hurts

You know those Cymbalta commercials where it says "Depression Hurts" well it is very true. I'm in a lot of physical pain due to the fact that I'm so stressed and depressed because we had to take our cats to the Animal Shelter. It was the hardest thing I think I have had to do in a while. It felt like a part of me died. I've had my cats for longer than I've had Kayl. So, it was hard for me to see them go. Now I'm just hoping that they get adopted to great homes. I didn't want to take Kayl with me cause I hate when he sees me cry so Kayl went to play with Grandpa while I went and dropped them off. Let me tell you, hearing them whine in the car all the way to the shelter was the worst thing ever. I was already crying when I got there and I started bawling when they brought back the empty pet carrier. It was a really rough day.

I'm so proud of myself!!

Lately, Todd and I have not had all too much money. When we moved, we discovered that we had so much food that we have never eaten. So, we decided to stop shopping at the store and only go to the store when we need milk.
So, tonight I went through my cookbooks and I found a recipie for Navajo Tacos. We don't have any white flour but I found some whole wheat flour and used that instead. I got the two cans of chili down that don't have onions in them.
I was so proud that I cooked a yummy meal. I didn't know I had it in me.

We are all moved in!!

So, Todd and I have moved into our new place and we are loving it. The one horrible then about it is that we have to let our cats go. If anyone wants a cat please let me know. I will really miss my babies but we couldn't find any place cheap that allows animals. I'll post pictures as soon as we are totally unpacked.

Is it just a phase?

Kayl has begun to hate baths. Everytime we put him in the bath tub he bursts into tears and his bath ends up being like 2 minutes. Does anyone have experiance with their child doing this? We are so confused. It was like one day he loved baths and the next day he hates them. We don't know what to do!!

Time to Transistion

We decided to get Kayl a Toddler bed because we thought it was time for him to get used to it. At first he was pretty scared of it. He would roll off the bed and end up sleeping on the floor. Than one night he crawled under the bed and would not get back on the bed when I tried to put him back on it. But for the past three days I walk into his room and he is bouncing up and down on it giggling. He has not slept on the floor in 5 days. I love it!!

I really thought that I would have more time with my kittens but within 3 hours of my ads being on all of my kittens are sold and off to their new homes.

Annoyed

I got so very annoyed with my blog being private so it's not private anymore. I just couldn't take it anymore. Welcome to the many readers of my blog!!!

WOW!!

Not even 30 minutes after I finished posting my ads for my kitties, two of them are already sold and leaving tonight!!! I thought I would have more time like I did with my two other liters. I'm so sad to see them go :(

My little kitties need to go : (

I'm so depressed that the time has now come to let the last litter of kittens go. If anyone is interested in one please let me know. They are the cutest kittens ever and are very very good with kids. It is very sad that they are ready but it is time. Thank You everyone!!!

I think I have a mini Pooh Bear

Since I've had my tonsils out I haven't been able to eat anything. My mother in law suggested that I warm up some honey and drink it because it'll coat my throat. I totally recommend this to anyone who is getting their tonsils out soon. Anyway, I was scared that I didn't have any honey in the house. I went on a frantic search through my cupboards and and ran across some of my Grandpa Anderson's bee honey. MMMMMM My favorite.

I loved when we would go down to Arizona and visit Grandma and Grandpa. I would climb his lemon and grapefruit trees and eat them right off the vine. I loved helping my Grandpa get the honeycombs out of the bee cages. I was so intrigued by the process that I once wanted to be a bee farmer. My Grandpa had all sorts of fun things at his farm. I'm proud to say that my Grandpa taught me how to cow tip. I really miss him.

Anyway, back to my story, I was heating the jar up on the stove and making the honey nice and warm. I poured some in a glass and started to drink. It felt sooooo good going down my very sore throat. Kayl saw what I was doing and came over to investigate. I got a spoon and some of the cooled down honey and gave some to him. He was a little nervous at first but then he put it in his mouth and started to suck on the spoon like there was no tomorrow. By the time I had finished my 3 ounces of honey he had had like 6 spoonfuls. I bet that If I set a pot of honey in front of him he would stick his head in it like Winnie the Pooh. I totally regret not getting pictures of his face. I wish I had more of my Grandpas honey cause I only have a fourth of a jar left and I really love it.

Misery loves Company!!

I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone tho!!

I had my tonsils taken out yesterday and I'm in a tremendous amount of pain. My surgery was schedualed for 9:30 am. Everything went really smooth and it was a grand day. But I wasn't able to breath on my own very well so we ended up at the hospital till 5:30 pm. I was on and off oxygen the whole time and I couldn't stay awake.

Now, I just feel miserable and sick. I'm on Percocet which makes me extremly tired. I take one and ten minutes later I'm asleep. Cold things actually make my throat hurt really bad so we went to the store and found a chicken broth that doesn't have any onions in it and I got so excited. I drink a lot of warm jello too.

Surgery Sucks!!

We did it!!

It took us 2 years and a lot of trials, but we have done it. Todd and I were sealed in the Temple on Wednesday March 25!!! It was very overwhelming and beautiful. We are so happy to know that we will be together forever and to be able to have Kayl with us forever. Thank you everyone for your support throughout these past years. We are glad to have you in our lives!!!

Todds new blog!

Todd made a blog last night. He is an amazing poet so he started a poetry blog. For the longest time we have wanted to get his poems published but have not had any money for it so we thought it would be better just to make a blog, then get some feedback so we can publish only the ones people think are really good. I'm biased and I love them all. The link to his blog is on the side of my blog. Leave comments and tell him what you think!!

They actually listened!

I used to get Strep Throat 2-3 times a year and whenever I would go to the doctors to get it checked out they kept telling me, "Oh, we'll take them out next time you get Strep."
Well, seven years later, I went to Dr. Pratte because I was scared that my Thyroid cycst had grown again and that they would need to take it out. He sent me back to Dr, Maturlo and she did a ultrasound on my neck and found that my cyst was still there but it was so small that it was not causing my choking or ability not to swallow. She was concerned because she didn't find anything so she looked in my mouth and found that my Tonsils were huge. She immediatly made an appointment for me to see Dr. Riddle.
On Monday, I went to his office. He gave me an exam and took one look at my tonsils and told me that they really needed to come out. The problem is that I am at very high risk for surgery due to the fact that I have Sleep Apnea. I'm terrified but I know that I'll be okay.
After I get my tonsils out on the 3 of April they will do a sleep study a month after to get the severity of the Apnea. If it is as bad as he thinks it is, I will have to wear a CPAP mask to bed every night. I'm just glad to be finally getting my tonsils out because whenever I get sick my Lymphnodes swell up and push my tonsils and makes it impossible for me to eat and breath.
