Hysterectomy

To say is a nervous for this surgery would bean understatement. I had school taking mind off the fact that I was actually going to be going through with it. As soon as my school semester ended I started to have mini panic attacks at least three time s a day
Well, Wednesday May 1 finally reared it's ugly head and I knew that there was no turning back. My mom was so great to coma and pick me up at 5 am to take me to the hospital.
I got all situated and hooked up to my IV and then I sat there and waited for what seemed like forever. I honestly don't even remember being wheeled into the surgical room.
From what I have been told, my surgery went very well, it was my reaction to the anesthesia that almost killed me. I ended up spending at least eight hours in the ICU. I had stopped breathing after the surgery and had to be intubated. My oxygen levels kept dipping even when I was intubated. I don't remember too much of it because I was so out of it on drugs.
