Zoo Fun!!

Today, Tiffany and I decided to take advantage of the free zoo day. We took up Kayl and Logan. They both had so much fun looking at the animals together. Kayl and Logan did some singing together. What Kayl liked most was when the leapord came really close to the glass and looked at him. Most of these pictures are fuzzy because I had to use my phone since I don't have a camera but you get the point of how much we love the zoo. I'm hiding from you mom!!

Adventures in teething!!

Trying to make a miserable face. Oh the pain!!

So today started out like any other day. Kayl was happy and content. I got him up at about 9 and fed and changed him. He went back to sleep till 11. When he woke up he was hungry so I fed him and Todd changed him. Then out of no where he started to scream. We were so confused. We started to walk around the house with him while rocking him and singing thinking that he just wanted to be mad. When that didn't work it struck me to look in his mouth. Yikes!! I saw a tooth starting to push its way thru. Oh No!! I wasn't ready for this yet. We ran into his room and grabbed the teething tablets and baby oragel. We gave him some and he kept crying. I'm was so not ready for all of the noise. I don't know what else to do we have teething rings and all of the stuff we need but he doesn't like them. He's calmed down now that his binki is in his mouth but we have to hold it in. Any advice please!!

Big Explosion!!!!

So, right after bath time I came out to write my blog about our fun when all of a sudden BOOM!!!! Our windows shook and I thought that we were going to die.

We live right next to the mall in Provo and just down the street in Springville a plant blew up and it shook all the way to our house. No one knew what happened. Todd ran outside to see what had happened and saw that many of our neighbors were outside calling police. I was still inside and freaking out. We had just put Kayl in bed and he was almost asleep when the explosion happened. He started screaming. Todd came back inside with no clue to what had happened. So, we calmed Kayl down and then both went outside to find out what happened.

As we were outside I overheard a woman talking on her phone to one of her friends and I heard her say that she doesn't know if we are safe or if we need to be evacuated. The cops still didn't know what was going on. I got on the phone and called our friend Kevin to ask him if we had heard or felt anything. He hadn't because he was in is theater room and watching a really loud movie. So, Todd decided to call our other friend Brooke and she said that she had heard it and felt it. She still didn't know what was going on so I told Todd to turn on the news and sure enough 1 min after we had done so we heard about the explosion.

We still don't know if we are totally safe because there may be hazardous stuff. The cops will let us know if we have to leave. I'm still really scared because it was so loud. Oh well, at least I have Todd and Kayl.

Bath Time Fun!!

Sometimes I think Kayl and I have too much fun. Our favorite time is bath time. Toady I got a little camera happy and Kayl got annoyed with how many pictures Todd was taking but it was fun!! This Towel is so soft mom!!

To Move or not To Move?

That is the question.

Yesterday Todds best friend Tyson asked Todd if he wanted to move down to St. George with him. Todd called me and asked me what I thought. I think that it is a great idea but we are sad that we will be leaving our friends and family.

The reason we will be moving is Todds job. Tyson was asked if he wants to be the manager over St. George, but Tyson doesn't want to go there by himself so that is why he asked Todd and I. Tyson wants to but a house down there and let us live with him.

I really want to and so does Todd so today Tyson is coming over and we are going to look at houses together and see what it in his price range. Todd and I think that this is the best opportunity for us and we will take it.

Note: We will miss everyone up here but I will keep my blog updated and we'll come up for christmas and thanksgiving. But, you will all have to come down to St. George for Kayl's birthday. We love you all!!!

My Future

To my family,

I know many of you have been concerned of what I'm going to do when I grow up. Well, I have a great plan that you will all be proud of.

Starting in April I will be in a 2 week course to get my CNA. After that I will get in to a 6 week course to get my EMT.

I will then search for a job with a hospital and get on their tuition rembursment program and go to school to get my RN.

So, there is my plan and I'm sticking to it. I'll soon be able to provide for my family and let Todd quit his night job. YAY!!!

Found!!

After 6 years of searching I have finally reconnected with my best friend Adam Hoard.

I had been searching in every phone book and everywhere I could think of online and I finally found him.

It was Friday and I was on my Myspace page. I got bored and just decided to type his name into the search engine for Myspace, and low and behold he had a myspace page and he was online at the time I requested him as a friend.

I left the page for 2 min. to check my Facebook and by the time I got back to my Myspace he had accepted my friend request and we were finally reunited.

I don't know why I never thought of typing his name in Myspace before and now I'm really glad I did!!
